The Story Behind HS
HS represents the partnership between our founders, Hau and Sherynn — two individuals who bring together different strengths to create a more thoughtful renovation experience.
Hau has spent his entire career in the construction industry, starting at the age of 17. With over a decade of hands-on site experience, he understands the importance of solid workmanship, structural knowledge, and disciplined project execution.
Sherynn brings more than a decade of experience in design and marketing, focusing on creating spaces that are not only beautiful but also meaningful and practical for everyday living.
Together, they founded HS Renovation with a shared vision: to build a renovation company that combines technical expertise, thoughtful design, and genuine care for clients.
A Name With Meaning
The name HS also carries a deeper cultural meaning. Among the Hokkien community, the phrase “Hoseh” reflects a spirit of positivity — wishing things to go well, smoothly, and successfully.
